The Association for Advanced Training in the Behavioral Sciences (AATBS) seeks to enhance the skills of mental and behavioral health professionals through highly effective education on content and conceptual knowledge relevant to their professions. We specialize in preparation for mental health licensure examinations and continuing education. We help psychologists, social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, and behavior analysts.
AATBS has supported the needs of over 500,000 mental and behavioral health professionals throughout the United States and Canada since we opened our doors in 1976. Our licensing exam preparation materials are well-known throughout North America as the unrivaled standard among the behavioral science fields. We not only prepare professionals to pass an examination for licensure, but we also provide “real-world” training through our hundreds of continuing education courses. We believe in lifelong learning, which is why we are constantly developing new programs for our clients who come to us year after year to take courses, learn new skills, and take those skills into their work environment where they make a difference in the lives of those they serve.

Triad, The Hub For Behavioral And Mental Health Professionals
Triad was created by the same people who brought you AATBS. Triad is a social platform that features an active community full of members, Jobs Marketplace with hundreds of behavioral and mental health career opportunities, curated content and news, a Teletherapy Guide, and more! Triad also features Study Groups with a group dedicated to each licensure exam. Triad offers a study group for the EPPP, CPLEE, NCMHCE, NCE, MFT, BCBA, and Law and Ethics exams. Each dedicated group is moderated by an AATBS coach and exam prep expert who has passed the exam. The Study Groups also offer the opportunity to:
- Gain access to test strategies, motivation and inspiration, recommendations, and more, all tailored to your specific exam.
- Connect with others studying for the same exam and create or join smaller, focused study groups.
- Ask questions about the exam, content, or your study plan in the Study Group and get feedback and recommendations from the Triad coach or another community member.
- Stay up-to-date with exam changes and updates.
