Researchers found that narratives varied greatly, were multifaceted, changed over time, and had the potential to be nonlinear. Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify two recovery narrative characteristics via the framework provided in the study.
  2. Articulate two recovery narrative implications for clinical practice.
  3. Integrate the statistical findings with the identified related clinical implications.
  4. Review the identified study limitations and areas suggested for further review.

Course Outline:

  • Read and understand Characteristics of mental health recovery narratives: Systematic review and narrative synthesis.
  • Review the Course Description and Learning Objectives.
  • Understand the characteristics of mental health recovery narratives and reflect on the implications of these findings in clinical treatment.
