Course Description:
The APA Ethics Code provides a common set of principles and standards upon which psychologists build their professional and scientific work. This online course will provide a concise review of the ethical standards for psychologists in the state of Arizona.
Learning Objectives:
- To gain a better understanding of APA’s Ethics Code and laws related to the practice of psychology
- To gain a better understanding of APA’s General Guidelines and Specialty Guidelines
- To distinguish between ethical, legal, clinical, community and personal issues, as they impact decision-making as a psychotherapist
