Course Description: The stress that healthcare workers are undergoing with the COVID-19 pandemic may result in secondary traumas. In the presented study, researchers investigated the uncertainty of decisions, fears of contracting the virus, and hardiness among healthcare professionals. The researchers’ goal was to identify stressors contributing to secondary trauma while considering the protective factor of hardiness.  The participants participated in a self-study to measure stress, secondary trauma, and resilience. Different levels of stress and arousal were identified among healthcare versus emergency workers.
