Dr. Hori earned a PhD in psychology from the University of California at Riverside. He was an Associate-In Professor and Research Assistant at the University of California at Riverside, where he supervised the completion of over 50 research projects in psychology. He is credited with three publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Course Description: The purpose of this course is to demonstrate knowledge of sexual violence in the military. Efforts put forth by advocates in community-based sexual assault programs to respond to the needs of survivors and preventing sexual violence in the military are discussed.

Objectives:

  1. Recite the facts of sexual assault in the military
  2. Explain why the military culture is particularly complicated when it comes to sexual assault
  3. Discuss what primary prevention measures are being taken by advocates for sexual assault victims in the military

Course Format:

Course materials can be downloaded or read online. To receive a certificate of completion, you must complete a multiple-choice post-test with a score of 75% or better and complete a course evaluation.
