Coaching: Features and Benefits
Really, coaching is simplicity. It’s getting players to play better than they think they can. – Tom Landry
Studying for your licensure exam is a mental and emotional challenge. Through the ups and downs of practice exam scores and learning new concepts, preparing for a passing score is no easy task.
What if there was someone who could help you perform better on your exam than you think you can?
With AATBS, there IS someone.
A unique feature of AATBS is specialized one-on-one coaching.
If you’re already studying with us and haven’t called a coach, you might be missing out on a tool that you’ve already paid for. Or, maybe you’ve talked to a coach but don’t know how to maximize this benefit.
If you’re still considering studying with AATBS, you are potentially about to embark on a unique study experience with a creative feature that will make the process much more enjoyable.
Whether you are already with us or still considering, coaching can drastically increase your chances of passing your licensure exam.
Our coaches know specifically how to help you. They do not give generic “one size fits all” answers to your questions but, rather, through getting to know you and your strengths and weaknesses, they give you personalized recommendations.
Read on for the features and benefits of coaching.
Personalize Your Program
First, to take full advantage of coaching, start from the beginning. After you take your assessment exam, a coach can recommend how you should move forward. To call a coach before you begin your study plan – before you even open your books – will put you on the path to passing from the get-go. However, if you’ve already started studying and haven’t called a coach yet, it’s not too late.
Coaches can track your progress. By looking at your mock exams and practice questions, they see your strengths and weaknesses. From there, they can help you adjust your program by giving advice on what to focus on for the next week.
Ultimately, a coach will help you avoid wasted time spent studying something you already have a firm grasp on.
This ability to adjust your program and fine tune your strengths is a trait exclusive to AATBS coaching.
Understand the Material
One reason students fail is that they don’t know how to use the study materials they have. Because AATBS coaches have all the materials that you have, they can help you use it based on where you are at.
For example, they can coach you through test-taking strategies by helping you understand what a specific question is really asking. A coach can also help you navigate your study volumes. They will, by assessing your strengths and weaknesses, help you decide which sections of your study volumes to focus on instead of blindly reading it cover to cover.
Furthermore, if a coach thinks you would benefit from more AATBS materials, they can point you in that direction.
One of the many great things about our coaches is that they are not sales people. If they recommend another AATBS feature, it is not because they feel you will benefit from it. Their only motive is to help you pass.
Partner with You
Our coaches are completely objective, which allows them to effectively help you pass. They can look at what you’ve done, how you’ve been doing, and, based on that information, help you decide what to do next.
A coach will remove the ambiguity of where you’re at in your studies. They can help you decide if it’s time to take the test or if it’s better to wait a few weeks.
Ultimately, you have a personal encourager who can help you do better than you think you can.
And every Study Package comes with this amazing service!
An AATBS exam coach can act as accountability and affirmation throughout the process. They are built-in supporters who will help keep you from feeling isolated in the process. If anything, solely having the added support of a coach can push you closer to the path to passing your exam.
So, it’s time to get started with a coach!
